5 Shrub Cocktails you need to try this spring! 

1. White Peach Balsamic Bellini:

Starting off with a classic—you can’t beat a good Bellini! Bellini’s are super easy to make and has a refreshing taste perfect for warm days. Wonderfully light, tasty, and you only need 3 ingredients-YES PLEASE! Grab the girls and hit the patio, cause this Bellini is calling your name.

Ingredients:

·        1 cup of our white peach balsamic vinegar

·        3-4 medium ripe peaches, peeled and sliced, or 1 16oz bag of frozen peaches, thawed

·        1 bottle Prosecco (feel free to use any sparkling white wine if you don’t like Prosecco)

·        Sprig of mint or fresh raspberries for garnish

 

Directions:

Place all of your peaches into a pitcher and pour your white peach balsamic vinegar on top. Slowly add your Prosecco and put in your fridge for at least 1 hour before serving. Serve chilled and add your garnish for serving.

 

2. Sparkling Gravenstein Apple Shrub Cocktail:

Another easy drink needing only 3 ingredients, this sparkling Gravenstein apple shrub cocktail is the right amount of sweet and fruity. Make a pitcher for your squad and cheers to a great summer ahead!  

 

Ingredients:

·        ½ oz of our Gravenstein Apple White Balsamic Vinegar

·        2oz of Vodka, chilled

·        3oz of club soda or seltzer, chilled

 

Directions:

Grab your champagne glass and fill it with ice. Add all three ingredients together and mix gently in your glass. Serve immediately and cheers the group! Can be made individual or in a pitcher.

 

 

3. Black Cherry Shrub Cocktail:

A personal favourite, the Black Cherry Shrub Cocktail is an easy and delicious drink that will please everyone! I think this drink is absolutely perfect paired in a mason jar glass and is totally Insta-wothy #spring2022

 

Ingredients:

·        1 oz Black Cherry Balsamic Vinegar

·        ½ oz Lemon juice

·        2 oz Bourbon

·        8 oz (1 can) club soda

 

Directions:

Grab a shaker and fill it with ice, the lemon juice, Black Cherry Balsamic Vinegar, and bourbon. Shake and strain into an ice filled mason jar and top with your club soda. Serve and enjoy!

 

 

4. Mint-Champagne Shrub Cocktail:

If you’re a fan of Mojito’s, you will love this! Have the hubby watch the kids, make this cocktail, and head outside with your favourite podcast playing while sipping by the fire. This may just become your new favourite drink.  

 

Ingredients:

·        1/3 cup Champagne Vinegar

·        1/3 cup Elderflower liqueur

·        ½ cup chilled sparkling white wine

·        1 ½ cup mint leaves, loosely packed

·        1/3 cup fine sugar

·        ¼ cup fresh lime juice

·        chilled sparkling white wine (enough for 8 8 oz glasses)

·        Mint leaves for garnish

 

Directions:

Muddle the mint leaves and sugar in a cocktail shaker to release the flavours. Add Elder flower liqueur, Champagne Vinegar, and lime juice. Fill the shaker with ice, cover, and shake until thoroughly chilled. Strain into 8-8 oz glasses then add your sparkling white wine. Garnish with mint and you’re set!

To close things off, we wanted to share this delicious number! I have made for my friend group and everyone was OBSESSED! There is nothing better than serving some tropical goodness under the sun. Easy to make, fun, and so incredibly delicious.

 

Ingredients:

·        2 tsp Pineapple White Balsamic Vinegar

·        6 oz Lemonade

·        2 oz Fresh lime juice

·        2 tsp Pineapple White Balsamic Vinegar

·        2 oz Coconut rum

·        1 Cup of ice

 

Directions:

Blend all of the ingredients together in a blender, serve with a wedge of lime or pineapple and enjoy!
